Athlete Sponsored Gym Development

Platform Fitness has been developed by Shaikha Al Qassemi, a Red Bull and Lululemon sponsored athlete from Sharjah, UAE.

We appointed to work hand-in-hand with the client’s Main Contractor, Bluu UAE, to deliver the USD $1 million facility. We worked closely with the client and contractor; consulting on the layout of the gym spaces then supplying and installed all flooring, rigs, lifting platforms and fitness equipment.

The particular challenge for us on this project was the low ceiling height, made even lower by the circular AC ducting. The Main Crossfit Rig needed to be designed and coordinated closely with the Contractor to factor in the limitations on the space and ensure it could provide full functionality for Crossfit work-outs.

The gym includes a designated Olympic lifting room, a mixed CrossFit room, a ladies-only CrossFit zone for strength and conditions, Coffee Shop.
